(EJ25) Built for the (04-06) Subaru STi... For over 40 years, Cosworth has been the leader in innovative multi valve cylinder head design. Their latest advancement is the Cosworth CNC Ported Big Valve Cylinder head range. Modified from OE cylinder head castings, substantial gas flow improvements and upgraded valve train components offer superior performance for your high performance engine.Each original cylinder head design is carefully evaluated and tested to establish the improvements required to meet the target performance level. Hours of testing and flow bench validation are used to determine the best advanced port design yielding maximum usable power and response. However, there is more to cylinder design than just maximum flow. It is critical that port velocity is maintained to ensure drivability and valve train components are matched to guarantee reliable performance. Once all of these factors have been tested and validated, the final port contour is digitized. Using the digitized program, we then reshape both intake and exhaust ports using a 5 axis CNC mill producing and accurate and consistent port shape every time. In addition to re-shaping and enlarging the intake and exhaust ports, most Big Valve Cylinder heads feature a re-shaped combustion chamber to un-shroud the valves increasing air flow and performance. After machining, each cylinder head is ultrasonically cleaned, serialized and then hand assembled with select high performance valve train components, ready to install on you engine.   • The Cylinder Head controls the flow of intake and exhaust gases into and out of the Cylinders through the opening and closing of Intake and Exhaust Valves. On bikes with multiple Cylinder Heads, this is the Left or Rear Head (as you are sitting on the bike).
  • A used Cylinder Head will be undamaged and in good working order. All mount points will be intact. Valves will open and close properly and will not leak. A used Cylinder Head includes all valves, keepers, and cam caps. Buckets and shims (if applicable) will be included if in servicable condition. The Cam(s) and Valve Cover are not included.

The Edelbrock High-Performance Performer RPM Cylinder Heads are ideal for high-performance street, drag racing and marine applications. These cylinder heads offer dyno-proven increases in horsepower, throttle response, and torque throughout the RPM range. They have top quality features like threaded inserts for rocker studs and exhaust manifold bolt holes for durability and superior strength, and manganese-bronze valve guides. The intake and exhaust runners are CNC-profiled for superior flow and performance. These heads made over 500 plus hp at 6,500 RPM (+30 hp more than ported factory heads) and 525 plus foot per pounds of torque at 4,500 RPM with the Performer RPM Total Power Package. The 75cc combustion chamber is available to offer a variety of compression ratio choices with engines of various sizes. They accept factory exhaust, aftermarket headers and factory valvetrain components and require the use of 3/8" diameter pushrods.
